Le Club Rotaract de Pointe-à-Pitre annonce fièrement son jumelage avec le Club Rotaract de Kingston pendant 3 ans. Ce jumelage est l’une des priorités pour le Club en 2014 qui désire créer un échange avec un autre District de la Caraïbes. Le choix du Club Rotaract de Kingston a été validé suite au départ de rotaractienne Midji Verdol vers la Jamaïque.

 Afin de mieux ancrer ce jumelage entre nos 2 clubs, nous avons décidé de mettre en place lors de chaque réunion et au cours de l’année des actions mettant en avant l’île de nos homologues. Ainsi, nous avons pris l’habitude d’honorer chaque réunion avec la minute Jamaïcaine.

Au cours de cette année, nous correspondrons régulière par mail, nous échangerons des cadeaux, nous aiderons à soutenir un orphelinat ou une école en Jamaïque et nos soirées de carnaval auront pour thématique l’île de notre club jumeau.

 Enfin, au cours des 2 prochaines années, nous souhaiterions pouvoir organiser un voyage respectif dans nos 2 îles.

Le Club Rotaract de Pointe-à-Pitre est vraiment fier de son jumelage et tient à remercier le Club Rotaract de Kingston pour son implication.

The Rotaract club of Pointe-à-Pitre, has the honor to announce, proudly, its twinning with the Club Rotaract of Kingston, and it for the next 3 years. This twinning was one of the priorities 2014 for the Club which wished to create an exchange with another Carribean District.

The choice of the Club Rotaract of Kingston was approved because one of our active members, Midji Verdol, gone to Jamaica. To strengthen at best this twinning between our 2 clubs, we decided to set up during every meeting and during the year, several actions to discover the island of our counterparts.

So, we do during every meeting « The Jamaican minute ».

During this year, we shall maintain a regular correspondence by e-mail and by the exchange of presents, we shall help to support an orphanage or a school in Jamaica and our carnival parties will have for theme the island of our twin club. Finally, during the next 2 years, we would like to organize a respective journey on our 2 islands.
