The Rotaract Club of Pointe-a-Pitre is led by a "Board", elected annually by the members. It is composed of:

  • the President
  • the Vice-President
  • the Secretary
  • the Treasurer
  • the Immediate Past-President
  • and any other person appointed by the President

 

We talk about the "Expanded Board" when we add the committees directors and special positions described below, to the Board.

 

 

COMMITTEES

In order to coordinate the actions carried out throughout the year, committees have been set up:

 

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Committee

which brings young people together in the economic and professional world, raises awareness of the importance of adopting and observing good ethics in a professional setting

INTERNATIONAL SERVICE Committee

which is an implementation of targeted actions in favor of education, health, water, fight against hunger and peace in the world

COMMUNITY SERVICE Committee

in charge of promoting a better knowledge and understanding of the needs, problems and prospects in Guadeloupe by developing appropriate activities

CLUB SERVICE Committee

which is responsible for the good cohesion of the club and to organize moments of fellowship

 

Each of these committees is led by a Director, who is also elected for one year.

 

SPECIAL POSITIONS

Also elected for one year:

  • The Sergeant-At-Arms
    He ensures the smooth running of meetings and events organized by the club, in respect of the Protocol established.
  • The Public Relations Officer
    He ensures that the club returns a good image, notably by communicating on the actions put in place.
  • Finance Committee Director
    It organizes fundraising and seeking of partners.
